Aging in Place

Description: Educates older adults, their families and caregivers to ensure that older adults can remain in their homes and independent living situations.

Curriculum/program overview: Helping older Americans live safely and independently in their homes as long as possible, as well as helping the next generation proactively plan for their long-term housing needs. Resources and guidelines are developed for educators to teach Universal Design concepts and strategies to enable independent living for those with disabilities and to promote aging in place.
