Master Naturalists - Springfield Plateau Chapter

The Missouri Master Naturalist™ program is an adult community-based natural resource education and volunteer service program sponsored University of Missouri Extension and the Missouri Department of Conservation. The program engages Missourians in the stewardship of our state's natural resources through science-based education and volunteer community service. Missouri Master Naturalists are trained volunteers who support conservation efforts and natural resource education in their local communities.

The local chapter is the Springfield Plateau chapter.

Training Course: Sept. 8 – Oct. 27 (Flyer about the 2013 Training)

Required orientation meeting: Thursday, Aug. 11 or Thursday, Aug. 16, 6:30 p.m. Missouri Department of Conservation Regional Office, Springfield

Classes meet Thursday nights 6:30 – 9:30 in Springfield
Includes four Saturday field sessions
Cost: $100
