Classes and Events

Women in Agriculture -
This organization's goal is to connect women with ties to agriculture and provide information of interest about today's challenging farm issues. Please join us for the annual meeting/dinner, Tuesday, November 17, 2009, Union High School, Union, MO at 5:30pm. Come early to browse and shop the vendor booths!

Ag Lenders Seminar -
Please join us Tuesday, November 24 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hermann, registration begins at 9:30am, program starts at 10:00am (lunch will be served).  Please register by November 17! Two University of Missouri Extension Economists, Ron Plain and Ray Massey, will cover many issues including an ethanol update, tax changes, "Is there money to be made in the green movement?", as well as many other timely topics. 

Eat Well Be Well - A four-class series, which includes nutrition instruction, cooking demonstrations and tasting. Please check back for future class dates. If you have any questions, or would like more information you may contact us at 636-583-5141. You may
also be added to our waiting list.

Stay Strong Stay Healthy
- A strength training program for middle-aged and older adults who want to improve quality of life and stay active!  New classes will  for classes will  begin again soon! If you wish to receive a brochure, or would like more information, please contact our office at 636-583-5141.

Building Better Child Care - Child care training workshops will begin again in Spring 2010!   Call 636-583-5141 for a free brochure/registration form, or check back here for upcoming workshop dates! And remember: register early seating is limited!

Franklin County Cattlemen - Fall 2009
There are a series of three meetings this fall. If you are a landowner, renter, wildlife enthusiast, or a producer interested in getting the most from the dollars you spend, these may be of great interest to you.
