  • Enhance your life - read LifeTimes

  • Focus on Kids is an educational program for divorcing parents presented by University of Missouri Extension in more than 30 counties in the state. This 2-1/2 hour class addresses researched-based information regarding children of all ages and their adjustment to their parents’ divorce.

  • Women's Financial Education Series: five 2-1/2 hour sessions coming this fall! Topics include getting organized, insurance, banking, credit and debt management, preparing for retirement, and estate planning. Contact Sandra McKinnon.

  • Building Strong Families: Challenges and ChoicesThis program is based on the philosophy that all individuals and families have strengths that can be enhanced if they are treated as partners in their own learning process. Designed for working families with dependent children, the program can be adapted to reach many different families or is useful for those that work with families. In addition, several sessions have been approved for clock hours for child care providers.

  • Money Action Plan - Are you a helping professional? Then this 8-hour training is for you! Be better prepared to work with clients having money problems. Increase your personal knowledge of money management. Basic money skills topics include: developing a spending plan, record keeping, credit, communication about money, insurance, and being an informed consumer. Whether used for one-on-one or group settings the materials emphasize activity-based learning to give hands-on experience.

  • Step by Step:  Creating Strong Stepfamilies - a 3-session program for adults who are together and have children from previous relationships. Topics covered: tips to make like smoother, communication, stepparent-child relationships, and financial and legal issues.
