Annual 4-H Picnic

Join us as we celebrate National 4-H Week in Franklin County

Sunday, Oct 1, 2017 
Liberty Pavilion in Veterans Memorial Park (see directions below)
3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
We will begin eating at 4:30 p.m.

The 4-H Council will provide fried chicken and dinnerware.  Each family should bring a covered dish or dessert to share, and their own beverages (water or soda).  The park offers some nice playgrounds and hiking trails.

All Franklin County 4-H families, former members and volunteers, and their guest are invited to join us to celebrate a new year of 4-H in Franklin County.  The event includes games and other fun activities including playing with the six foot earth ball.

Directions:  Veterans Memorial Park is located off of Progress Parkway in Union.  Take Hwy. 50 East to the first right turn after the stoplight at Wal-mart.  This is Progress Parkway.  Continue on Progress Parkway until you see the park on the left side of the road.  You can get a Google Map by searching for Veterans Memorial Park, Union MO.


The Christmas Vacation I'm Bored Blues!

Don't panic Mom and Dad!!!!  Help your young people get over the "Christmas vacation I'm bored blues"!

Join the 4-H Christmas Break Envelope Stuffing and Pizza Party.
Union City Hall Memorial Auditorium Basement
Dec. 26 - Dec. 27, 2017 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All 4-H members 8 and older are invited.  Your friends, parents, leaders, and 4-H alumni are also invited to participate.  Pizza, soda, and snacks will be provided from the Extension Council.  Every kid that helps has a chance to win a 4-H bag!  This is our chance to thank the Extension Council for their support of our 4-H program.  Bring the kids and enjoy a day to yourselves.  

Parents, please check with one of the adults in charge when you pick up your young people so we know they are safely on their way home.
