Online Volunteer Orientation
For the online Volunteer Orientation read the entire page before proceeding.

All 4-H Club Leaders, Project Leaders, and Activity Leaders must complete the Making the Best Better Volunteer Orientation by January 1, 2009 in order to be a “recognized” 4-H volunteer.  This is a one-time orientation and will not have to be repeated each year.  In addition, any parent who helps out with the club is also encouraged to complete the orientation and fill out the Missouri 4-H Volunteer Application Form LG636.  Recognized Volunteers are protected by the University of Missouri Liability Insurance Policy when working with 4-H members, activities, and events.  Only recognized volunteers should be left alone with 4-H members (other than their own kids) and only recognized volunteers should transport non-family members in their personal vehicles. You must complete the Missouri 4-H Volunteer Application Form LG636 each year. Most important, the orientation will help all volunteers and parents understand 4-H philosophy and goals so that we can all work together to Make the Best Better!
