4-H is a community of young people
across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.
4-H is one of the educational programs of University
of Missouri Extension involving youth and adults. It is a
family-community effort supplementing and complementing the

In addition to the club model, school enrichment, and special
interest projects are offered.
4-H is for ALL youth in both rural and urban settings.
4-H is one of the largest youth organizations in the United
States.
As part of the University of Missouri and Lincoln University,
4-H is based on research to help children and teens become
competent, caring, contributing, and capable adults.
Franklin County currently has the largest 4-H
enrollment numbers in the state with over 720 members and over 330
