Here are some guidelines to help you review videos in your library and make decisions about which to keep and which to remove.

• Videos that minimally refer to the old Food Guide Pyramid - If a very small part of the video refers to the old Food Guide Pyramid AND the other information is still current then use the portion of the video that does not refer to the old pyramid.

A suggestion: If you keep a video that refers to the old Food Guide Pyramid, it is highly recommended that you indicate which sections of the video to use and place this information inside the video case or tape it inside the case cover so the person using it can refer to it.

• Videos that are based on the old Food Guide Pyramid - If the video focuses on the old Food Guide Pyramid or servings from the old pyramid please remove this from use.

This is an challenging period of time until new materials become available. As time goes by, new videos using MyPyramid will become available.
