Introduction
The CYFAR (Children, Youth, and Families at Risk)  Self Study, first introduced as a staff development experience for University of Missouri Extension faculty and their collaborators, provides an opportunity to:  

• learn about CYFAR at the national
• learn about CYFAR in Missouri at both the state and local levels
• locate useful CYFAR resources
• reach low income and at risk youth and families more effectively, including Hispanic/Latino audiences

The Modules
The Self Study consists of four modules.  You work through the modules at your own pace.

• Module 1 is an introduction to the National Children, Youth and Families at Risk (CYFAR) Initiative.
• Modules 2 and 3 explore CYFAR efforts past and present in Missouri.  Missouri programs targeting at risk audiences in Missouri are newly created or integrated into on-going Extension programming.
• Module 4 examines resources for partnering with Hispanic/Latino Populations.
