Pest control

Pesticide applicator recertification training

Question

I have a certified public pesticide applicator operators license and need to be recertified next year. When are the recertification seminars?

Answer

Private and commercial applicators needing certification and recertification must attend training programs conducted by MU Extension as mandated by the Missouri Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Pesticide Control.

Private applicator training takes place at the local county level, but commercial and public applicators needing to certify or recertify must attend training conducted in Springfield, Kansas City, Cape Girardeau, St. Louis or Columbia.
