Are there any online credit classes that can be taken towards a
bachelor's degree in agronomy or horticulture? If not at MU, is there another
college?
MU currently doesn't offer online bachelor's degrees or courses in agronomy or horticulture. However, you can take many of the general education courses required for such degrees through our Center for Distance and Independent Study. See the list of available courses. The center also provides an online bachelor's completion program in general studies, through which you combine course work in three different areas rather than focusing on a single major.
Searching on Petersons.com, one of the more credible online learning portals, I found two schools that offer online bachelor's degrees in horticulture -- Texas Tech University and Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. A search on agronomy yielded zero results for online bachelor's degrees, but you may want to search the site yourself and make sure they don't list the degree name differently somehow.

I belong to an international association that is trying to put together its second annual convention. I am in charge of seeing if Missouri would like to host us. I am not sure who to contact or where to start. Can you help me?

My mom, who lives Jefferson City, would like to take flower arranging
and other community education type classes. What organization offers these?
I'm not aware of any flower-arranging classes offered at the moment by MU Extension, but if your mother is over age 50 and interested in continuing education courses, I can recommend some other personal enrichment options through MU Extension's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. There are fall and winter classes. If you would like a printed catalog, please call 573-882-2585. You might call your local MU Extension center for information about educational programs in the area.
