Federal loans with online degree

Can federal loans be transferred to pay for the online mental health practices in schools graduate work at the University of Missouri?

Once accepted into the program, you can use your federal loans.

GRE required

I am enrolled in another university's graduate program for educational psychology. Is it absolutely necessary to have completed my GRE prior to applying to your mental health practices in schools program?

There are no waivers for the GRE. You might be able to transfer in up to 6 hours from your current program.

Advanced English courses

My niece wants to attend the MU, but does not meet the English requirements. Are there advanced English courses through outreach programs that will help her?

The University of Missouri High School, operated by the University of Missouri Center for Distance and Independent Study, offers advanced English courses and very likely will have an appropriate one for your niece. These are independent study courses for which she can enroll any day of the year and take up to nine months to finish.

Art and cultural programs

What art and cultural distant learning and other programs are offered by MU?

Thank you for inquiring about courses and programs at the University of Missouri. Among the courses we offer in the arts are:

The Arrow Rock Watercolor Workshop, a pair of one-week offerings that take place every summer in historic Arrow Rock, Mo.
A month-long course every June in Florence, Italy, focusing on the student's choice of drawing, graphic design, painting or photography.

Please also visit our Center for Distance and Independent Study. I don't believe the center currently is offering any art courses, but you may find others that would be of interest to you.
