Infested grass blades initially appear silver and then brown. This damage is produced during the winter and noticed in the spring. This pest spends the summer as an egg attached to the grass or thatch. During October and November the eggs hatch, and by early March the mites mature. They feed throughout the winter. Treat for this pest in March.
