LeafhoppersLeafhopper adults and nymphs feed on juices with their piercing-sucking mouthparts. Heavily infested turf tends to become mottled or bleached, and it then dries out as if under drought stress. Leafhoppers rarely cause severe damage to healthy lawns. Clouds of leafhoppers in flight may be noticed ahead of mowers.
