Greenbug aphids

These aphids feed on plant sap with a sucking mouthpart. As they feed, they inject a toxic saliva that results in plant discoloration or death. Light feeding activity appears as yellow or brown spots. Greenbug populations can be held in check by natural enemies, such as lady beetles, parasitic wasps and lacewings.
