Wild-proso milletA summer annual grass weed of nursery, vegetable and agronomic crops. Seedlings are relatively large and robust in appearance and covered with hairs. Leaves are without auricles and have an auricle that is 2 to 4 mm long, membranous at the base and fringed with hairs at the top. Leaf blades are 4 to 8 inches long and 6 to 20 mm wide and are covered with hairs especially on the lower surfaces. The seedhead is a panicle that is pyramid-like in outline and can produce many yellow, orange or reddish brown seed.
