Professional Improvement Committee Report   Pat Snodgrass, Committee Chair       November 2009

The Professional Improvement Committee is considering offering a Professional Development Opportunity, sponsored by ESP this next year. One idea suggested is to do one or more sessions relating to technology. How can we as Extension Professionals use all the new technology more effectively like many other states are doing? These technologies include: Facebook, delivery of webinars, blogs, Facebook/Twitter for programming and marketing , and participation in eXtension as an expert to answer questions.

Please let us know if you would benefit from learning more about these technologies and the committee will pursue some key contacts from states who are using these effectively in their programming.
