Beverly Maltsberger is community development specialist in the Northwest Region and has been an extension specialist with University of Missouri Extension for 31 years, beginning as a Home Economics Specialist in Oregon County and currently serving as Community Development Specialist in the Northwest Region. She has participated in the North Central NELD leadership program and previously held offices in ESP, UMEA, UECRDA and MEAFCS.

Rhonda Gibler is assistant vice-provost in administrative management for the University of Missouri Extension System. Rhonda has been with Extension for nearly 10 years, serving as Assistant Director for Administrative Management, Director of Administrative Management, and Assistant Vice Provost for Management. She was a member of the MELD II class and has completed all levels of Community Development Academies. She holds a BS in Math and Econ, an MA in Econ and a PhD in Consumer and Family Economics.

Janet Lafon is family financial education specialist based in the Jasper County/Southwest Region. She has been in that position for about 25 years. Janet has served on the ESP awards committee and has held numerous offices in UMEA and MEAFCS. She is a member of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).
