Expanded Directions

  1. These assessments contain 10 questions each, and must be answered sequentially. You will have two chances to answer each question correctly. You may not back up to previously answered questions.

  2. Read each question carefully. Select the best answer to each question. Make your selection by clicking the checkbox next to your answer. A check mark will appear, indicating your answer has been selected. If you wish to change your answer, you may do so by clicking on another checkbox--but don't forget to uncheck the answer you no longer trust. When you have made your final selection, click on the “Check Answer” button at the bottom of the page. You will receive immediate feedback telling you if the answer was correct or not.

  3. If your answer is correct, press the 'next' arrow button in the lower right corner to continue with the next question.

  4. If your answer was incorrect, the “Check Answer” button will change its name to "reset."  Press the "Reset" button and your checks will be cleared and the button name will go back to "Check Answer."  Make your selection(s) again by clicking the checkbox next to your answer. Click on the “Check Answer” button again to determine if your second answer was correct or not. After your second attempt, press the 'next' arrow button in the lower right corner to continue with the next question.

  5. You may leave the assessment at any time. However, if you do not finish by continuing to frame #11, where your score is displayed, your answers will not be recorded. Note that if you elect to exit early, you will need to restart at the first question when you return to that particular assessment.

  6. You must score at least 80% on each assessment in order to continue with further lesson content and assessments. If you do not achieve 80% or better, the system will not let you proceed to the next Lesson or Assessment. You may retake the assessments as many times as you wish.

  7. This course has been designed to deliver the material in the most optimal manner. It is suggested that you take each Assessment immediately after completing each lesson.
