University of Missouri Extension can help improve your life in several ways. Here are just a few:

• We help people help themselves. We offer educational resources that can help you help yourself, providing “what you need when you need it.”  
   

• We help meet high-priority needs in the state. University of Missouri Extension helps improve people’s income, build healthy families and individuals, create strong communities, and manage and conserve natural resources.  

• We link citizens with local, state, and federal resources. Our partnership with University of Missouri, Lincoln University, local citizens through county extension councils, and numerous local, state and federal resources can help you find information quickly.  

• We offer flexible access to educational resources. Take your pick! We offer information and educational resources through classes, community programs, computer-based education, consultations, continuing education, demonstrations, distance education, media, publications and guide sheets, technical assistance, our organization’s web site, and workshops. 

• We provide faculty and staff experts who can help you solve problems. In East Central Region, we employ 45 field faculty from diverse backgrounds with expertise in a variety of academic disciplines.  

We are located in one of eight field administrative units in Missouri.  Through this site, you can access all University of Missouri Extension sites in Missouri’s East Central Region. The counties in East Central Region are Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Montgomery, St. Charles, St. Francois, St. Louis County and City, Ste. Genevieve, Warren and Washington.
