Dr.  Kaume is an Asst. Ext. Professor,  Nutrition & Health Education, for the University of Missouri Extension, serving Jackson County in the urban west region. She is a Registered Dietitian, and holds a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Food Science & Nutrition. Lydia enjoys educating and is passionate about making a difference in the health of individuals, families and communities in Missouri. Dr. Kaume plans and delivers programs focused on health and wellness, chronic disease management and prevention; and prevention of childhood obesity.
