B.S. Degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design from University of Missouri (1993). M.S. Degree in Horticulture from University of Missouri (2001).
I began working for University of Missouri Extension in 2008 as Horticulture Educator in Dunklin County and moved into a Horticulture Specialist position one year later in Butler County.
Currently a member of Missouri Agriculture Extension Professionals (MAEP), the University of Missouri Extension Association (UMEA) and with the National Association of County Agriculture Agents (NACAA).
In addition to being the secretary of MAEP, I serve on the State Professional Improvement Committee in Horticulture and Turfgrass, the Ag Leadership Award Committee, the Professional Improvements and Staff Benefits Committee (Chair) and the Master Gardener Leadership Team. I am the National Committee Vice-Chair for Professional Improvement in Horticulture and Turfgrass in the North Central Region.
Yearly program highlights include planning, hosting and education for the Ag Expo in Poplar Bluff, MO and the coordination and planning of the watermelon meeting in Kennett, MO.
