Events are open to 4-H and FFA members showing livestock, unless otherwise noted. Open fair means it is open to any 4-H or FFA member, who is a member in good standing. Closed Fair means it is open to only that County's 4-H & FFA members. See links below for additional information. This page will be updated when information becomes available.

Attention 4-H livestock project members of beef, dairy, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep and swine!

You must have the certification of the Missouri Show Me Quality Assurance (MSMQA) if you plan on showing at most fairs in the state of Missouri, as well as the Missouri State Fair. You can do it online at http://www.agebb.missouri.edu/smqa/, or check with your local MU Extension office to see if they are offering an Missouri Show Me Quality Assurance program for your county.

Showing Livestock at the Putnam County Fair- If you would like to show at the Putnam County Fair the forms are listed on the link attached and the classes are listed in the 4-H/FFA Rules and classes page by clicking on it.  Putnam County Fair 4H/FFA livestock shows are open to surrounding counties in Missouri (Adair, Mercer, Schuyler,& Sullivan) except beef which closed but has an open jackpot show available.  The Dairy, Sheep & Swine are open to reciprocating counties (which do include Grundy, Harrison & Daviess).  4-H/FFA non-livestock exhibits and the livestock sale are open to Putnam County members only.  Out of county exhibitors will have an out of county fee that is listed on the bottom of the forms.4-H Cat Show is open to Putnam County 4-H Cat Care Project members only. Entries due  Friday, Aug 1st, 2014!  A late fee will be added if entry is made after August 1, 2014. For Entry Forms go to http://extension.missouri.edu/putnam/fair.aspx and the entry forms are listed there.
