Fair dates

Events are open to 4-H and FFA members showing livestock, unless otherwise noted. Open fair means it is open to any 4-H or FFA member, who is a member in good standing. Closed Fair means it is open to only that County's 4-H & FFA members. See links below for additional information. This page will be updated when information becomes available.

Attention 4-H livestock project members of beef, dairy, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep and swine!

You must have the certification of the Missouri Show Me Quality Assurance (MSMQA) if you plan on showing at most fairs in the state of Missouri, as well as the Missouri State Fair. You can do it online at http://www.agebb.missouri.edu/smqa/, or check with your local MU Extension office to see if they are offering an Missouri Show Me Quality Assurance program for your county.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture Office of the State Veterinarian has  released the following Poultry Exhibition Policy:

“Due to the highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak, out of state poultry will not be allowed at exhibitions in Missouri until further notice. Additional restrictions may occur if circumstances change. This does not prevent a county fair from banning poultry exhibitions or exhibitors from making a decision to not exhibit poultry.”

Here are the links to the Department’s Avian Influenza Exhibition Policy and the Avian Influenza - Fact Page:
