Camp Crowder 4-H Counselor Application, 2017

Camp Crowder 4-H Counselor Applications are due January 13, 2017, who quailfy are 4-H members 14-18 as of 1/1/17, responsible, positive role model, member in good standing, exhibit positive interaction with youth, and attend mandatory Counselor Selection Workshop on February 11, 2017 or Feb 18, 2017.

NW Regional 4-H Energizer

The Northwest Regional 4-H Energizer will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Cameron Veterans Middle School, 1015 South Park Avenue, Cameron, MO.  Registration and payment, must be received in the Daviess County Extension Office by January 20, 2017.

Northwest Region 4-H Camp 2017

Northwest Region 4-H Camp 2017 will be held at Crowder State Park, Trenton, MO, the week of June 5-8, 2017 and the week of June 12-15, 2017.

In compliance with fire code the camp can accommodate 96 campers.  We will accept 32 males and 64 females. Completed registration will be accepted until the camp fills or until the registration deadline whichever comes first.

Registrations will be dated and taken on the first come, first served basis for the NW Extension Region.  Youth, outside of the Northwest Missouri 19 county region, will be accepted beginning on April 15.  However families outside of the region are encouraged to apply earlier than April 15 and have their names put on a list to begin being placed in available spots on April 15.   Only complete registrations will be accepted.  A complete registration includes camp application, a copy of the youth health form from 4-h online.  The complete registration must be mailed to Daviess County Extension, 102 North Main, Suite 1, Gallatin, MO 64640, by Monday, May 16, 2016.

Missouri 4-H Equine Career Tour

Missouri 4-H Equine Career Tour will be held May 22-28, 2017, 4-H members age 14-18 will be touring Equine Career places in Oklahoma and Texas.  A completed application packet containing the following must be postmarked by March 1,2017. 

A completed application packet must contain the following 4 items,

  • Both pages of application completed.
  • Reference Letter
  • $300 Deposit (or full amount of $600) Checks payable to Clinton County Extension
  • Wallet Size Photo (Head Shot) such as School Photo

Final payment of $300 before May 1,
