ATTENTION:  4-H & FFA PUREBRED SWINE EXHIBITORS

The Missouri Swine Association will give the following awards to be paid to junior members at the 2009 Missouri State Fair:

$100 to the exhibitor of the Grand Champion Boar, Gilt and Barrow in the 4-H and FFA division of the Hampshire, Yorkshire and Duroc shows

$50 to the exhibitor of the Reserve Champion Boar, Gilt, and Barrow in the 4-H and FFA division of the Hampshire, Yorkshire and Duroc Shows, and

NEW THIS YEAR, $100 for the Barrow and Gilt named Champion of the Points for each of the 3 breeds in the Missouri Pork Association Youth Show Circuit (Contact Diane Slater, MPA, at (573) 445-8375 for entry information and rules of the MPA Youth Show Circuit.)  (Animals must have originated from a current member of the Missouri Swine Association)

Also, the Best of Breeds Sale Committee will give the following to paid MSA members as well:

$250 to the Junior Barrow Champion of each of the 3 breeds

$100 to the Junior Barrow Champion of the same breeds (The barrow must have been purchased or originated from a current member of the Missouri Swine Association)

Be sure to attend the Best of Breed Sale at the Missouri State Fair on Sunday, August 23, 2009!!
