Present:  Jackie Hickam, Dudley Kaiser, Ken Edwards, Ronn Phillips, Michael Goldschmidt, Tom White, Karla Terry, Lori Imhoff, Mickey Reichel, Jeannie Anguaoui and Todd Lorenz.

Michael Goldschmidt opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. with a brief introduction and discussion of the agenda items for the night.  The architectural firm was unable to commit to the previously proposed date for the Charrette.  A new date of December 3 - December 7 was proposed.  As with the previous date, the first day would be set aside for the architects to arrive, set up equipment and review the area.  After checking with those present, there were no obvious conflict on the new proposed Charrette date.  Ronn indicated that he would contact them and let them know that this date was acceptable to the group. 

The committee then discussed media coverage and several ideas emerged:  set up interviews with the media, website additions, links to media home pages and town newsletters around the county.

The Finance committee and the Design and Planning committees then broke into separate subcommittee meetings.  The Design and Planning committee only received 5 responses from the ERIC Activity Relationship chart that Ronn presented at the last meeting.  Todd will get an electronic version and email it out to the Friends of ERIC list in order to get more participation from those that couldn’t attend the meeting.  The Finance Committee continued to work on logistics:  food, hotel accommodations, travel, technological support and room arrangements.

Both groups met again with brief progress reports.

Next meeting will be at the 911 Center on October 7 at 6:00 p.m.
