In Attendance:  Ken Edwards, Tom White, Todd Lorenz, Ronn Phillips, Jeannie Anguaoui, Jackie Hickam, Candy Sorrell, Paul Davis, Dudley Kaiser and Karla Terry

Finances:  Todd summarized where we stood with the finances.  Funding was available to make the final payment to Rantis after Ron is satisfied with the final set of “deliverables” documents.

Site Selection: Random questions asked by various

·         Are the power lines an issue? 

·         What is the portability factor? 

·         Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?

·         Legal questions.

·         How to resolve if anything has to be changed?

Infrastructure possibilities shovel ready.  Are we in the “shovel ready” mode.

Ronn commented that we don’t want to lose the momentum but that we would need a formal arrangement with a developer before they would look to move forward.  We will need legal counsel for that action.

·         Ken asked about the other locations

·         Dudley stated the ones that stepped up will be considered.  We had 8 submitted.

o   Go back and see if they want to change $ of 8.

o   If a new site proposed they should put up $ for charrette. 

The site selection notes 9/18/09 (“The committee then discussed and ranked each proposal according to five criteria:  topography, buildability, access (to I-70), visibility (to I-70) and affordability.”) were revisited on the selection criteria that were used on the 8 locations.  Ronn asked if anything had changed in the scenario.

Motion:  Site selection in principles that the Holiday site is our best choice.  Motion made by Jackie and seconded by Dudley.

Pending actual commitment is dependent upon legal.
Paul – abstain.  Jackie, Jeannie, Dudley and Ken all voted in favor.

Ron made comments of proposal
