Scholarship for the 2014 summer art camp on MU campus

Criteria
A full residential camp scholarship (a $500 value), is offered to one Missouri high school student — age 16 through 18 by MU Extension Community Arts Program.  

Application process
If you fit the criteria you can apply for the scholarship. Please answer these questions: “How will attending MU’s summer art camp, Through Artists’ Eyes, better develop you as an artist? How will you apply your new knowledge and skills after the camp?”

All scholarship applications due by end of day April 18.

Submit your answers on an 8 ½” x 11” single page. On a second page, include contact information: your name/age/email/phone/address/city/zip code/county/and name of high school.

Last years scholarship recipient from Lexington, MO said he took away a new understanding of the many types of art experiences available at MU and new friendships with other young artists across the state. “I loved being on campus,” he said. He also said the camp exposed him to a variety of art mediums and people who enriched his life. “It was a great opportunity for me.”
