A Place to be your Best
Camp Clover Point is located in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks State
Park. University of Missouri Extension 4-H Camping Program is a joint
effort by fourteen counties in Mid-Missouri. All of the 4-H Youth Staff
in Cole, Osage, Callaway, Audrain, Cooper, Boone, Moniteau, Morgan,
Miller, Crawford, Dent, Phelps, Maries, and Gasconade counties work together to provide a positive experiential learning
experience for campers.
Adventures of a Lifetime!
4-H Youth Staff develop an educational curriculum for campers, train
permanent staff on duties and responsibilities, teach camp counselors how to
work with younger children and provide special events. Staff work hard to make
camp a magical experience of a lifetime for all. The camp features a dining
hall, residential cabins, recreational hall, outdoor recreation area, office,
nurse cabin, craft cabin, permanent staff quarters, two campfire sites and a
swimming/boating area.

Counselor Camp (4-H Members
14-18)
May 29-30, 2009
$35
At this
special training camp, teens will learn the skills required to become an
effective Camp Counselor. Topics covered include the flag ceremony,
waterfront safety, working with homesick campers, being a positive role
model and leading songs and games. Successful applicants will receive
assignments to work at the Traditional 4-H Camp.

Join
campers from Cole and Osage counties, 4-H LIFE Program and Lincoln
University at our annual summer camp celebrating a wide variety of 4-H
Projects. We’ll try our hand at archery, digital photography, the
adventure course, and electricity while enjoying old camp favorites like
swimming, four-square and campfire ceremonies!

Teens from across the region will gather for an over name adventure.
Teens will have the opportunity to
participate in fun and exciting activities that will help prepare them
for the future.

$35 per person (not to exceed $125/Children 4 and
under $5)
This
weekend camp allows families and youth to experience hands on what 4-H
Camp is like. This unique camp is family oriented. Enjoy a fun,
educational get-away for the whole family.
