T-shirts for sale

Have you heard? There are new Missouri 4-H t-shirts available for you to purchase! The shirts are black, short-sleeved with a new green and white logo. Available sizes include youth small, youth medium, adult small, adult medium, adult large, adult X-Large, adult 2XL and adult 3XL. The shirts will be available for purchase through 4HOnline for $11 each, through December 15, 2017. You will find the shirt sales listed as an event in 4HOnline, for which you may register. You will pay for you shirt(s) just like you do when you register for the year, for state events, or trainings.

So how will you get the shirts?

It is not cost effective to mail the shirts to you directly, so delivery will be made to your county or region and your 4-H faculty and/or staff. Your faculty and/or staff will make arrangements regarding local delivery/pick-up.

Will you have to wait until December or January to get your shirt? The shirts will hopefully be delivered to your region and/or county in a timely manner.  Do not count on them for holiday gifts.

Can you still purchase them after December 15, 2017?

Certainly, but other arrangements, besides 4HOnline will need to be made.

ROBOTICS: Robot Challenge/Cardboard Arcade

First, we have a Cardboard Arcade Build coming up on Oct 7.  Groups and individuals are invited to bring arcade games that they have built from cardboard and other recyclables. We'll set them up in Capital Mall in Jefferson City. We'll all take turns playing each others games.  I think it would be a fun 4-H club activity.

LabSpace will be open Sept 23 and 30 from 1:00-3:00 if people would like to come build together.  We'll have tools, hot glue guns, tape and recyclables.  The event is free, but we gladly accept cool recyclables, tape of any kind and hot glue sticks.

Our Fall Robot Challenge is Dec 2.  We have 2 robot challenges-the rules are attached.  We're also having a Mousetrap Car Challenge the same day.  So, there will be lots of cool robots and mousetrap cars to watch and hopefully, some 4-H'ers will enter.  The entry fee is $5 per team, but we can waive that if it poses a problem.

If there are 4-H'ers who have access to 4-H kits and need help getting started on the challenges, we'd love to help.  We can set up a special session or two to get them going.

If you have any questions, please call (573) 645-0800 or email.

Thanks,

Annette
