Community Gardens - Work with Columbia Community Gardens
Boone Co. Ext. grounds - Landscaping and maintenance of
landscaping at the Boone County University Extension Center. Cole County Master Gardeners
also assist with this project at the Cole County University Extension Center
Educational Booths - Displays at various events across the
region showing information on Master Gardeners and distributing horticulture information
Hot Line at Boone Co. Ext. Office - May through August, 2:00
to 4:00 on Tuesday afternoons and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings.
Hot Line at Cooper Co. Ext. Office - Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon May
through September
Speakers Bureau - Master Gardeners provide speakers for many
groups on a wide range of topics.
Programs and Refreshments
School Gardens - Several Master Gardeners develop school
gardens to educate school children on various aspects of gardening.
Web Page - The Central Missouri Master Gardener web page has
been developed to coordinate information for Master Gardeners and to provide information
to the public on gardening.
Newsletter - Each of the Master Gardener groups has a
monthly newsletter.
Test Plots
Jr. Master Gardeners - A Jr. Master Gardener program is
