Regional Council minutes

Jim opened the meeting at 7:00 pm with the introduction off all present. 

Mark gave a brief outline of the regions staffing, before turning the meeting over to Dr. Sandy Hodge. 

Sandy presented a program on staffing in the 14 area counties. Handouts were also given out.

 There was discussion about a new position or the ability for current staff to handle question from the public.

 At 7:35 members gathered in small groups with other members from their county. A survey was given to each group to complete.

 At 8:35 each group gave a brief overview on what their needs were. Chariton, Carroll, Saline, and Howard counties would like a YEA for Chariton County. Morgan, Moniteau, Benton, Pettis, and Cooper counties would like to minimize travel. Boone, Audrain, Callaway, Cole, and Osage counties would like to see YEA’s salaries increased. 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50.
