Regional Council Meeting    June 3, 2002

Boone Co. Extension Center

Howard Simmons gave a short talk on MECCLC.  Howard would like to have minutes of each county council meeting so he can know the needs of the area.

Mark went over new staff.  There are 4 open positions today and 9 or 10 statewide for specialists.  As of June 1, 2002, there is a hiring freeze.

Mark went over UOE funding for next year.  They must cut 5 ½% off 2002 budget ($2.6 million)

Each county went over extension week activities and showed message maps.

Mark gave out sheets on Vista workers and talked some about the program.
