Clover Kids Camp

July 20 - 3 options: 8-11:30; 12-3:30; or all day 8-3:30 (bring own lunch)

Are you 5 -7 years old and want to have your day at camp??? Check out our Clover Kids Camp registration so you can join us at camp on July 20th! Camp will be held at Happy Rock Park in Gladstone. There are ½ day and full day options available. 

*Camp activities will include a foods activity, arts activity, water games, nature walk and a few activities to get our Clover Kids thinking about car design/engineering and how to make them race!*

Urban Regional Camp

The very first Urban Regional 4-H Camp serving youth in Clay, Jackson and Platte Counties is June 30 to July 2 with a Surfing the Waves of Leadership theme. Camp will be held at Heartland Center in Parkville, Mo along 45 HWY.  A fully packed schedule of team building, nature exploration, swimming, and volunteer/staff led activities. To allow youth ages 14 and up to help plan and take leadership opportunities, we will follow the following schedule…

  • Ages 14 and up will arrive on Friday at 6:30p.m. The evening will be full of camp planning, team building, and extra focus building teamwork.
  • 8:00 a.m. on Saturday youth 13 and under are invited to start their camp adventure with breakfast then fun filled camp.
  • Camp will wrap up on Sunday with a skit at 11am (parents invited)

With the changes that are being made, we are trying our best to make a fun experience! Youth will choose from horseback riding (ages 10+) or high rope course (ages 10+) and archery (ages 8+) or lead horseback riding (ages 10+).  Registration is due June 1 or until full.  Only completed registration will be accepted.  A completed registration includes camp application, payment to Platte Co. 4-H, and a copy of youth health form AND authorization form from 4-H online.  Return completed registration to MU Extension Platte Co.  11724 NW Plaza Circle Suite 300 Kansas City, MO 64153.  Registration form can be found at http://extension.missouri.edu/platte.
