How The Related Sites Were Reviewed
A variety of web sites have been reviewed for their relevance, and links to these sites are provided below.  The review process has determined that the listed sites are valuable sources of information.  We include these links as sources for further information only.  No endorsement of any products or services sold by or advertised on these sites is intended or implied.  Although we believe the accuracy of information in these sites is generally very good, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all content.

Ratings
Each site was given a ranking of from 1 to 5 (1 being the lowest rating; 5 being the highest) on each of the following eight criteria:
  • Educational value

  • Accuracy of information

  • Unbiased information

  • Site regularly updated

  • User friendly design

  • Usefulness to professionals

  • Usefulness to average citizen

  • Attractiveness

These rankings have been summarized into a star rating.  Note that you will see few--if any--ratings below 3 stars, because most sites with a lower rating were deemed unworthy of inclusion.  50% of the sites reviewed didn't meet the minimum standard for being listed.
Summary and Recommendation
The reviewer provided a narrative description of the site along with their recommendation as to whether the site should be listed on Consumer Economics Update.
