Stop Wasting Time

Feel like you’re always wasting time? Here are some tips on how to salvage a few precious hours.

  • Know when your energy level is at it’s highest and tackle your more difficult tasks when you’re the sharpest.
  • Call ahead when needing to run errands. Check first if the library has the book you want or that the video you hope to watch tonight is in. A few minutes on the phone can save you an hour or more.
  • Don’t play the waiting game at a doctor’s office or anywhere. Try to schedule the first appointment in the morning or just after lunch. It’s unlikely anyone will be ahead of you. To be sure, the day of the appointment call ahead to see if there is a wait.
  • Streamline your routines. If your drawers are full of makeup and you have to root around to find just what you’re looking for, that wastes time. Select the products you currently use and toss the rest.
