Take Time to Plan

Few individuals complain about having too much time on their hands. The opposite seems to be the norm with most individuals forgetting periodically they must take time for themselves or there will be little left to share with others in the future. Dr. Roger Fritz, a consultant on change, notes how we spend our time is a major factor in determining our quality of life. He recommends taking the time to:

THINK - the source of self-renewal;
PLAY - it will keep us young; READ - it will rejuvenate the mind;
HELP NEEDY PEOPLE - it will return more than you give;
SHOW LOVE - it is the key to life’s greatest satisfactions;
DAYDREAM - it will provide a road map for your future;
LAUGH - it restores your balance;
WORK ON NEW SKILLS - to keep you in demand; and finally to
PLAN - to determine whether you have time for everything you want to do.
