Whats Your Calling?
People who get the most of what they want out of life have more than talent and persistence. A number of people come across their calling by accident. The opportunity wouldnt have happened had these people not been exposing themselves to new ideas, new people, and new sources of inspiration. Reading books and articles and taking classes are great ways to get ideas, but dont stop there. Take risks, introduce yourself to people; ask them questions. To help find out what you enjoy the most ask yourself:.
1. List three times in your life when you felt exhilarated.
2. List your three favorite vacations.
3. List three recent accomplishments that made you feel satisfied. When you find yourself resenting someone elses success, stop and ask "What does this tell me about whats missing in my life?"Source: Pg. 7, Bottom Line Personal, May 98
