What Do You Want to Do, Be and Have?
Have you heard the management "experts" that tell you " to take control of your life, you must set goals and prioritize your time." But thats all they say. They dont say how. Heres how. Ask yourself and the rest of your family members these key questions. What do I want to do? What do I want to be? What do I want to have? Youve just identified goals. There are four people in our family - two adults that are parents/farmers/employees and two elementary school children. Every New Years Day we talk about our individual and collective goals for the coming year. We write them down and each person gets a copy. A few years ago we didnt take time to write our goals. We spent the year floating here and there but not sure we were getting to where we wanted to be. The next year and every year since we write goals without fail.
