ATM Management
More and more of us are enjoying the convenience of ATM (automatic teller machine) cards. Here are some tips for safe use of ATM cards: 1. Be cautious about entering your PIN (personal identification number) so that persons nearby cannot see the number youre entering. 2. Put your receipt and card away before leaving. Ive witnessed many cases where customers have inadvertently left their card behind. 3. As soon as you get home, enter the purchase amount into your check book. 4. Before you leave home decide what your spending limit is. 5. I had one listener contact me after receiving a credit report asking us to point out to other listeners that ATM cards are NOT credit cards. You have a defined limit which is your bank account balance.
