Learn from Mistakes

Someone once said if we aren’t making mistakes then we wouldn’t be making anything. Although some mistakes are costly or irreparable, we can and do recover from most. " We do not measure success by how many we make, but rather by how quickly we recover from them," says Don Taylor, business columnist. If we’re alert, even minor errors can teach valuable lessons. Some folks carry the guilt of their mistakes for a life time. Learn to forgive yourself and go on with your life.

Anticipate that you’ll make errors and mistakes. Try to anticipate the actions of others. Think ahead. Carefully consider what may happen with each decision you make. Then discard and modify decisions that may lead to costly errors . George Bernard Shaw said, "A life spent in making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful that life spent doing nothing."
