HIGH SELF ESTEEM

High self-esteem is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Self-esteem us a deep down feeling of inner worth, and that you have something positive to offer to yourself and to others. Take these steps toward developing a high self-esteem:

  1. Accept who you are and take pride in your individuality.
  2. Give yourself credit for all you do.
  3. Develop your personal talents and become more assertive.
  4. Don't be afraid to take risks, develop decision-making skills.
  5. Turn setbacks into victories- think of challenges as opportunities for growth.
  6. Join groups that promote positive self-esteem
  7. Seek fulfilling relationships.
  8. Concentrate on being your own best friend - encourage and praise yourself; trust your own judgement, acquire skills needed to reach goals.
