Holiday Stress
Do you ever want to say "Bah Humbug" at holiday time? There may be a valid reason you feel "blue" this time of year. Identify why you may not be in the holiday mood and strive to make it better.
High hopes. We, and especially our children, have high hopes and expectations around the holidays. Kids may be overstimulated.
Childhood memories of the season. Wasn't it more fun when we were kids? We just didn't realize how much preparation was involved! But preparing can be part of the fun. And the kids really do appreciate all our efforts.
Are you pressured to buy, buy, buy by the advertising hype? Remember your spending limits.
Family demands. Relatives and money are often the topics that cause the most conflict in a family. Family and relationships can be strained especially this time of year. Remember to communicate and compromise
