Garden Produce

Garden produce exposed to flood waters is not safe to eat. Do not attempt to disinfect, save or preserve crops--not even root crops.

If plants survive, the new produce that forms on them after the flood waters have receded are safe to consume. It will take about a month for gardens to become clean.
