Exploring Community Entrepreneurship

Study Tour Costs

$2400 + airfare (est. $1200)

A unique opportunity to explore how Thai community-based entrepreneurship facilitates local economic development, preservation of culture and quality of life.

Tour costs in Thailand will include domestic flights from Bangkok to Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, translation, 12 nights accommodations (based on single or double occupancy), ground transportation, most meals, and various program costs associated with the tour programming in Thailand. Participants will be responsible for travel and medical insurance, and personal costs (alcoholic beverages, laundry, mini-bars, etc.)

Air transportation is being handled by Angel Tours, specialists on Thailand. Participant will make their reservations directly with Angel Tours. All participants will depart together on Saturday, November 3 from St. Louis, The return flight will be on Friday, November 16. However, Angel Tours, which also has offices in Bangkok, can also arrange for anyone who wishes to stay longer in Thailand. Airfare is currently running about $1200 .
