Position Summary |
Nursing Outreach, an MU Extension program, is the primary educational outreach arm of the MU Sinclair School of Nursing. For nearly 50 years, the fully accredited Nursing Outreach program has been a leader in providing high quality and affordable lifelong learning opportunities for Missouri’s registered nurses, regardless of their specialty, practice setting, affiliation, academic preparation or geographic location. Both alone, and in partnership with a number of organizations, the office provides face-to-face, Web-based and telecommunicated educational program for nurses and other health-care professionals throughout Missouri and beyond. Increasing numbers of non-nursing health care providers and out-of-state participants attend Nursing Outreach activities. This position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Faculty with ongoing planning, implementation and evaluation of the MU Leadership Development Academy (LDA) for RNs in long-term care, a certificate program with nursing CE credit offered by the University of Missouri. |
Minimum Qualifications |
BSN with master's
in nursing (preferred), business, education or related field. Clinical
and administrative experience in LTC, organizational and leadership skills
required, ability to travel in Missouri. |
