Video transcript

Ray Walden, Coordinator, Salem Telecommunication Community Resource Center
The educational benefit gives me a nice discount on tuition. When I get to the dissertation stage, I’ll be able to take some time off to complete that project, where as I might not have had that provision with another employer.

Virginia Wilson, Business Specialist, St. Charles County
I try to take advantage of every opportunity that I can get to further my education. Education never stops. It’s ongoing.

Jim Crawford, Agricultural Engineering Specialist, Atchison County
The other regional specialists are as close as a phone call away. Everybody's been helpful — whether at the state level or the regional specialist level — when I have questions or need advice on how things are supposed to work. E-mail works great. If there's something I can't identify, I can take a picture, send it via e-mail, they'll have it, and generally within 5 or 10 minutes, I'll have an answer. They support you well, and they'll give you a lot of backup when you need it. If you don't need it, they don't bother you.
