Missouri Youth Forum Workshop - Is open to 4-Hers who have completed the eighth grade or are 14 by trip time in June.  The workshop is held in Jefferson City, MO.  Registration is around $90.00.  Group transportation is paid by the 4-H Council. 

 Washington D.C. Focus - Is open to 4-Hers 15 years of age and over by January 1st.
 There may not be a local (Southeast Missouri) trip each year but youth wanting to attend
 can usually join some Missouri group.  This trip is to Washington D. C. and sometimes
 New York City is included.  The cost is around $1300.00.  The 4-H Council
 has been paying a maximum of $300.00 of the fee per 4-Her.    

 National 4-H Congress - 4-Hers ages 14 and older must submit a    “4-H Teen Application for Missouri   Learning/Recognition Experience” form.  This event is held in Atlanta, GA in November.  Level of competition is from  county,  regional and state.  Approximately 20 - 30 state winners will be chosen annually to attend.  State will cover partial          costs of the trip.  4-H Council will pay $100.00 of the trip fee. 

Teen Conference - This trip is open to 4-Hers ages 12 & 13.  The event is held in Columbia, MO for two days and one night (weekend trip).  The registration fee is approximately $90.00. 

 

IFYE Trip -  International trips are available to a variety of ages:
IFYE Ambassador is for ages 15 - 18 year olds, 4-H LABO Japan is for ages 12 - 18 year olds.
Costs vary depending on how long the trip is and to where you will be going.  The 4-H Council
has an IFYE account and provides some help to IFYE applicants.  Application forms for these
exchanges are obtained through the State 4-H Office and are due at various times. You may
also participate as an IFYE host family.

Kansas City Conference - This trip is open to 4-Hers ages 14 and older.  The event is held in Kansas City, MO in March.  The Council covers some of the costs plus group transportation.  Cost to each 4-Her is approximately $250.00.
 

Aerospace Camp - University of Missouri at Rolla, Ages 10-13. Cost - $175.00.  Three days in Mid-July.

State 4-H Congress - Open to 4-Hers 14 years of age and over and may attend 3 years.  This event is held in Columbia, MO in early June.  The Registration fee has been around $120.00.  The group transportation is paid by the 4-H Council. 

State Fair Demonstrations in the Electric & General Theaters - Open to a limited number of 4-Hers who receive blue ribbons on demonstrations at County Achievement.  Electric Theater is for 4-Hers who use electricity in their demonstrations.  This event is held at the State Fair in Sedalia, MO in August. The 4-H Council provides group transportation. 

State Contest Days - Open to 4-Hers who win places on Livestock, Dairy, Meat I.D.,
Poultry, Shooting Sports, Horse Judging Teams along with winners in Public Speaking and
Fashion Revue.  State Contest Days are held out of county in April, August and September.
The 4-H Council provides group transportation.
