The Horse Sense Workshop will provide an overview and practical suggestions for balancing the needs of horses with productivity and protection of the land. Program topics will include: horse needs, improving health and vigor, group dynamics, exercise options, providing durable forage, rotational grazing systems, weed control strategies, top 10 pasture questions, plant/weed identification, soil fertility and plant nutrition, poisonous plants, manure management, and composting horse manure.
