    Building Better Child Care/Is There a Vaccine to Cure Rudeness? Empathy/Civility as Antidote to Rudeness, Teaching Children Respect and Tolerance (Session 2 of 4)

    Description:

    The first part of the 3 hour session will help to describe the positive and negative cycles of relationships that are based on respect and care versus those based on coercion/control/non-respect. The positive cycle interacts with healing, collaboration, non-violence, peace, love, and compassion. The negative cycle interacts with abuse, destructive conflict, violence, hate, and indifference. The positive cycle is based on civility and empathy. The second part of the session will focus on teaching children respect and tolerance.
